Firstly, I remember the favicon disappeared for a while a few weeks ago but now it's back. Has anyone else experienced this?

Secondly, what is it's copyright status? I am thinking of creating my own Bitcoin-related site(s) and the one used here seems to be the best one I could find. I tried generating my own using Bitcoin images that I found on the web but they don't look very nice at 16x16 resolution.
