I did not give permission to redsn0w nor did he notify me about changing the email settings to public
Besides, the rogue took place AFTER redsn0w took control meaning he should have changed the email in the first place as general escrow procedure
I am not at fault here. Im just grateful he recovered the account
So are you claiming that when you gave the password to redsn0w the email details were hidden/private? If this is the case and redsn0w agrees then this incident would fall entirely on him. If he disputes it then it would fall mostly on him, but still on you somewhat.
FWIW he does have the email set to be public although it is set to an email address that no one can potentially create
