ProtoShares by BitShares was given 50% of BTSX on Feb 28th which became BitShares now at no.5. So holders of BitShares have done alright. They were also given stakes in many other DACs and coins.
BitShares is the winner from 2014 imo

The comparison was for coins from one year ago today to today. Not coins created sometime later to coins today. If I wanted to pick a date of the coin I shill for and compare that, I could say Paycoin is the king of 2014 and has definitely out performed Bitshares.
Look, I know you are excited about your coin, but better not to look at hard facts and then say that your hypothetical world is better than the world on the charts based by real numbers.
Also, you can find Protoshares at #69 in the link I sent you. Yet you can't find it on today's CMC anywhere. Regardless of some kind of surprise audible change midstream smoke and mirrors metamorphosis that somehow allowed Protoshares to go into a cocoon and come out the other side as Bitshares (with making the devs much richer), the fact of the matter remains that Protoshares was on the chart, and now it isn't.
OMG! You're right it's there @69! BitShares really was the best investment of 2014 by far! Cool!

So $1000 of BitShares Protoshares bought at the beginning of 2014 would be worth a lot today from the shares it got you in BTS and other DACs!
