* Sent Ryan my 0.5 BTC
* Received a few coin names that I should put 0.5 to 1 BTC into at his suggested price points
* I did so - a week ago

erm...

I've PM'd a couple of times - no response.
No discussion over the last week on IRC.
No advice about what to do with the coins I now hold.

1000%?  Rubbish, he took my 0.5 BTC threw out some random coin names and then ignores me.  My portfolio is currently down almost 25% (have not sold) over the week after 'accumulating' at the ranges Ryan suggested I buy in at.
