About crime: I like a world where someone can set something up like cryptodouble, people know it's a scam, put in, and some lose. That feels fair to me, somehow. As long as people know going in that the counterparty's not accountable, I've got no problem. I also think Silk Road is good, because I oppose the War on Drugs, and SR is apparently safer (once saw a study showing this, believe it or not).
If there's an expectation of not being scammed, like where the company is based in a known location (like gaw), then usual laws apply.
I don't really see any in between for these categories. if you take issue with either, or have another example that's relevant, I'll listen.
