J4bberwock, what are dimensions of that connector for your new board, as I have some Lenovo DPS-800 PSUs and
these are shorter then HP DPS-800 PSUs. I think its like 31 vs 25pins on one side. So maybe this new board for DPS-835
will fit...
Hi, sorry, but your lenovo PSU uses a card edge connector like the DPS1200FBA. I'll dig a little on how to start the PSU (unless you already know how) and which connector should be used.
If you have at least 10 PSUs to make, and the connectors is easy to source, it may worth it to make specific boards.
Price should range from 30$ to 45$ depending on the price of the connector and options needed on the board
the 12Vsb (stand-by) line will always be live when the system is connected to power. That corresponds to pin B21. To turn on the rest of the PSU, PSON (pin A21) must be shorted to ground (A1-A9, B1-B9). That will turn on the other pins including the +12V rail (A10-A18, B10-B18).
