sadness.
replaced the stock fans with Noctua NF-F12 iPPC-3000 PWM 120mm
and fired my 2 miners up.
first miner : 58c/54c
second miner : 69c/68c
i realy dont feel like repasting everything :|
anyone else had batches with huge temp differences ?
This is because mounting holes for heatsink comes from 16 ASIC design and it doesn't fit S5 board perfectly. ASICs has not perfect contact with heatsink. Try to play with nuts and springs, I belive that there is enough thermal paste from factory. At least mine had huge amount.
