As a matter of fact "family and friends" will stop chargebacks on paypal, happened to me recently
Chargeback can happen using family and friends so never think this method is completely safe, it is not. Too many have been burned with this method.
OP, escrow does not protect the seller if Paypal is used, you need to update your post as it is incorrect.
