dpes the wallet sync really slow?

i was syncing for hours already and im still at 40%

try it with bootstrap it´s much faster.....
just paste it in your stealthcoinfolder. %appdata%

When I do this I have logo pop-up with 91% and can do nothing. I cannot open it useing bootstrap.
Should I wait longer?

It's normal. The faster your computer is, the faster it will go. Every single block has to be validated by your computer with a bootstrap. Just wait. Don't reboot or you will have to wait for the reboot time too.
