i paid 0.001 miners fee for mine when i sent. and now when they send it back to me its been unconfirmed for well over an hour. No idea what's the deal here.

The easiest way is to change server until Tools -> Load transaction -> Load from blockchain can reach your TX then you save this TX as file and change server, load TX from file and broadcast xD

After pushing this stucking TX fc274dc74caa0528468543db0c19f44935bb6dcf7d052f1adaad7cd32d871e47 everything seems fine I can reach your TX from several servers and from btc.blockr.io and miners now see it too. I think it's now matter of 1-3 confirmations and everything will back to normal
