sorry for the basic question, but im installing a bitcoin node following the electrum wallet instruction. My problem is with Bitcoin core, since im getting a error:

2015-01-31 00:35:00 connect () to ip failed after select(): Connection refused (111) or i get network is unreachable (101)

Can anyone help, please?

if i go to bitnodes.io it says the ok to the server, but its not working, since the blocks are not downloading.
