Yes, I think this would be quite helpful. Alan is readily known and I am also able to be known. I think having a few people as public figureheads with contact information will give people a sense of security and know that they have someone to contact with any/all questions. And by having this it brings a peace of mind to those that might otherwise not be interested. We all know they have heard all kinds of horror stories about cryptocurrencies and the devs that are just pump and dump and then abandon the coin. I realize that some do not want/can't disclose themselves and that is perfectly fine. Having a few that can will help immensely with transparency and thus coin progress.
