Is there a firmware out there that "for sure" disables the alarm altogether when the pool connections/internet drops ?

I'm about to deploy a few S3's offsite, and need to know if I should remove the covering, physically cover the speaker, then reaffix the covering in order to ensure "quiet" operation prior to delivery and setup.

Every S3 firmware I have flashed still causes the alarm bell to sound when the connection drops out entirely
