Miners are in it for the bitcoin. They will choose the route that gives them more. Simple maths.
well, Bitcoin will fork into two coins and the number of Bitcoins will be doubled. Gavincoin is not Bitcoin.
No consensus on hardfork = end of the party
A fork cant happen without consensus.
