That notion is what is the very basis for sexism in the Bitcoin community, at least the bitcointalk.org community. Disagree? Send me a PM.
If you start having more confidence in somebody because of their gender you should consider the problem being in
you, not in others! So stop shaming women/girls into hiding their gender. It is not acceptable.

I thought Tomatocage was over the top using the gender a person claims to be to judge whether they are a scammer or not. Nevertheless, his opinion illustrates how few people claim to be women here. Maybe there are lots of females here hiding their gender because of the attitude of people here, but I guess it's more likely that there really are very few females who post here.
