Darkcoin is the only coin that has proved itself being independent of Bitcoin (and also the best alternative to bitcoin so far) and that's the reason why some investors have been hedging with Darkcoin against Bitcoin for the last couple of months. Now that Bitcoin price is going up a bit, it is normal that those same investors are switching back to bitcoin. No reason to worry because after initial panic, market is going to identify Darkcoin's value which I think is more expensive than bitcoin itself but realistically we should be seeing 100$ per coin as the next Bitcoin bubble approaches. Just remember that when Darkcoin had neither anonymity nor InstantX, it was in 15$ range. Now we have a fully operating (almost fully.. )  coin with current value of approx. 3$ and some already start to panic and think about selling  

p.s. Even Litecoin which is nothing but a copy of bitcoin reached 40$ value during last bitcoin bubble (if you were around at that time). Why would 100$ be not reachable for Darkcoin, a coin that provides two major improvements- speed and improved anonymity? Just think about it before you panic and do something that you might regret the rest of your life
