The point is we don't want a computer noob to have a masternode.
And we don't want it to be cheap. It's supposed to be expensive. And it looks like it's a good call.

Sorry, I totally don't understand this question. I also disagree with tombtc in that it's dang easy to set up a masternode and there are tons of people willing to help newbies here.
And still there are many people who cannot do that. If you are not able to setup a node using a guide then what is the point to make that even more easier. For the health of the network running a masternode should require at least some skills.
Sure, but if you want to learn those skills, there are plenty of people here to help you, don't you agree? I think generally we're a great helpful group?
