That's ok, we don't need more people anymore, we would be happy to go up another thousand, but after that, or even until then, we have plenty of masternodes to secure the system.  If people don't want to set one up, obviously there are plenty who do Smiley

What is the maximum amount of MNs available on the system? Is there a limit?

There are about 5 million coins, you can potentially have 5000 masternodes.  Currently we have 2000 which is plenty for the network to be safe.
