All my XCR were on BTER.

So....  I'm totally F'd right?

We are open to ideas and are here to discuss thoughts or ideas, but right now we are at a loss. I mean 65% of our currency was held at BTER so this may be a huge hit for us in general.

WOW!!! 65%
With so much missing the price is bound to go up. Just my luck  Cheesy

What if you were able to acquire the Crypti balances from BTER from before the hack?
Would that be any help?

I once heard about a blockchain rollback (I think)... Is that an option?

Sorry, I am not a very technical man Smiley

Maybe, by some miracle, BTER actually gives back all the other coins!

Roll back not possible here, because the genesis block was started at Bter for the IPO.  A rollback would be a complete replacement of the genesis block and a fresh restart from block #1.

The reason so much XCR is at Bter, is that people were not removing their XCR from Bter to private wallets.  It seems that people did not like the 1% withdrawal fee that Bter charged for withdrawing XCR.  There was a lot of complaining here about that 1% fee, which is really the escrow fee that Bter charges.  Bter had decided to collect it as the XCR was withdrawn rather than charging it when we converted the XCR tokens to coins in Sept.

There was also the problem that the two other exchanges, Cryptsy and Polo could not keep the wallets running properly and thus were unable to accept or send XCR.

I did get 2500 XCR from Bter to Cryptsy, but soon after that Cryptsy disabled transfers.  I have 1200 of that locked in a  fork from Cryptsy that I was sending to my private wallet for use as a forging node.  After more than 3 months, it si still unavailable, as Cryptsy has not updated to the newest wallet and blockchain.

We are discussing several options, and waiting to see what happens with Bter.  We are not the only coin affected by this.  NODE had almost all their coins and BTC at Bter.
