If you have it on a hard drive you can try something like Reccuva http://www.piriform.com/recuva to dig the "deleted" file out.... if you are on Windows. On Mac not so sure. Anyway, how much did you loose ? Cheers 
I just accidentally deleted all my coinye.. That historical piece of data would have made me rich in 25 years. Museums will fight for it.
