How to not get banned:

• Play on one bitcoin address
• Allow time for eating and sleeping
• Do not use IP hiding services, since other people will use those services too, and it will seem like two+ people on one IP

I think the outage was handled perfectly. If you have DNS issues, open DNS servers often are much better.
