hello, do we have to work our way through levels or can we jump up 2 levels (or more) at a time if investment is made?

you can jump to any level from 2 up to 8
but level 8 is too expensive Smiley

I can´t. If I want to upgrade from level 3 only option I see is L 4.

in some browsers the arrows < and > in Increase Level dialog become invisible
but when you click the right part of dialog you are still able to select next levels
at least it works for me
