I agree with you that that could be the case. I think Bitsend doesn't give up, as they stated in there last message as well. But they can't communicate about it yet either. Only real deals can be published or else it would be hollow. I can understand that.
The community of Checkcoin should not be afraid that the Team of Bitsend will ever leave this project before finishing it.
