A friendly reminder that if you connect to it through Tor, you're anonymous.

Not necessarily. It depends how safe and smart you have been. If you use tor but have previously publicly posted an address that can be connected to you it can easily be found. You could also use two or more addresses to send funds which are then spend linked and could be used to track you.

this only concerns shady people who are doing illegal stuff with bitcoin not the general users, and they know how to become anonymous! so no need for the article there either Cheesy

Again not necessarily. They may just not want their identity associated with something they are purchasing. Also, just because something the government say is illegal doesn't mean it is right or wrong to purchase it or take part in the activity.
