Look on page 53 where he told about the update. Due to people exploiting glitches, he reset all accounts to the point where they where at the last update (which was about a day ago).
the reset is fine and all but for those who got reset on workers and stuff like that and did not get gold back not so good
He said he was going to reset the accounts not just gold. If he just reset gold, those whom exploited glitches would just spend their gold on upgrades and have no penalty.
