I think that there is a difference still.
As I wrote, unfortunately, this is where BTC mining is going. I don't like it as well.

If BTC is mined centrally only,then it's no better than the dollar.It'll be manipulated to death by those in control of the network,forcing higher & higher fees & other problems Sad

BTW,cloud mining only makes BTC for those hosting the miners...ever!!! Tongue
