Correction - 40 posts per week vs 20 won't get you to hero faster. You can get at most 14 activity points every two weeks, i.e. one post per day on average is enough to keep your rank growing at maximum pace.
I think he has more activity than posts lol.
Maybe he did less than 14 posts every 2 weeks in the past and now can grow faster because of that.
