"Stolfi's" Rule of Sound Money: if it has no mass, it has no value.
Ageless advice.
The internet is a conglomeration of data, which is energy. The internet has very very little mass but extreme value. Value is transient through tangible (commodity, fiat) and intangible (knowledge, data) means. For example, if I were to sell you the internet for 1B USD would you buy it? It has little mass compared to a pound of Gold, but immensely more value. Based on this I would say the above argument is false.
