I noticed the config file has mining server enabled by default, don't know if that's what might be triggering it, not on a mac.

The wallet need admin privileges to run. Beceause it can't make datadir on Apple Support folder like other wallets. I made a custom launcher to force it, otherwise it will not launch. You find the original wallet inside the the package, if you you try to lauch it, you will get a boost error.
