Guys, please don't let your sentimental attachment to the old name cloud your judgement. Darkcoin would never gain traction outside of dark markets and nerds. When I brought it up to anyone outside of crypto, people had immediate negative reactions to the name. It makes sense to us, but for others dark= bad, criminal, evil etc.
Bitcoin is barley outside nerds and DNMs.... so why not cater to the people actually buying it... you all keep acting like theirs a chance to surpass bitcoin..

That is the reality. The hope is to get a part of the marketshare in anonymity. Darkcoin/Dash is not going to surpass Bitcoin, end of point. What Evan and his totalitarian rule is doing now, is decreasing the chances of Darkcoin/Dash being used as an actual anonymous crytpocurrency within the crypto community, which is the only hope that Darkcoin/Dash would actually thrive.
