I think the paper wallet and android wallet were not updated due to lack of download/usage when the coin algo was changed to neoscrypt.
You are correct, no one ever used the original ones. So once we did the upgrade to the Neoscrypt algo - we never bothered to update them or the Android wallet. If we see a significant demand, we will pursue it further.
