The Altcoin world is a shit filled landfill where you can find a diamond in the rough. There's like 5-6 alts to even come close to considering and all the others have anonymous devs who add nothing to the project past getting it out the door in the first place. I do want to hold an ALT as well as BTC and choosing to keep the one with the best developer out there is a smart decision no matter what he chose to do short term. I don't ever feel like Evan is going to run away or disappear and that's worth a lot to me in spite of the things I don't agree with.
Satoshi, Bitcoin's anonymous dev, added nothing once he got it out the door.
That's a good thing, because making a project depended on Some Dude creates autocracy, undesirable centralization, and a Bus Factor of one.
DarshCoin is Some Dude's hobby, not a FOSS project. The backdoor/killswitch private key in Duff's possession makes that perfectly clear, as does the heavy-handed rebranding.
Your dimwitted love of and faith in trusted third parties is cute. Have fun with the hero worship and good luck getting "DASH" trademarked!
