Bitcoin - not fungible, pay in slomotion, stalled adoption, 5% of network already spying on user's IPs

Altcoins - just bitcoin clones with few extra features but still slow

Dash - fresh approach with instant payments, fungible, spy-proof, masternodes that earn interest, young coin just getting started

Bitcoin was the concept, Dash is the implementation  

so $20m market cap is nothing in this context and the market is just waking up to that me thinks
