IMHO, it would be much better to give a series of regular updates, with the good news and
also in case of a hitch, and only when everything was ready and tested, prepare an
real announcement \ official release.

Maybe because now, people are rightly angry, there would be a predictable anti-aircraft fire. ^_-
And fudder could not but rejoice and feed the flames.
Also it is always difficult admit errors.
I imagine that there will be answers only when the waters have calmed down a bit...
and maybe something real of which they can be proud of and for which to be forgiven.
(Ok this is a wickedness not necessary, but at least let me take it out)
