Ok I think I have this all figured out.

Xcoin/Darkcoin wants to become DASH
Dashcoin likes being dashcoin and wants to be Dashcoin
Fudcoin errr I mean new DARK (darkcoin) wants to be the Darkcoin that Darkcoin doesn't want to be.
The community they love DASH, DRK, XDD, and FUDD.
Dogecoin and Litecoin they want to rebrand as well so they got new website.
So all in all my DRK are getting more valuable and becoming DASH but my DSH is worthless and won't become DASH. Yet I can go buy DARK and then my DRK would be different then your DARK. Now your DARK and XMR aren't as anonymous as my DASH.

Ok I think I got it all sorted out. Much more clear now.
