I downloaded the wallet and only get 1 connection to the network. Is this normal?

If you never get higher than 8, that means something in your firewall, or similar software, is preventing it. I currently have 52 on my local wallet, and it's not set as a seed node or anything special

I never have more than 8. My firewall and AV seems ok. If we have more connections, is that mean we can stake faster?

Thats a good question actually. I only get 8 connections on my wallet (other wallets also)
Does it affect stake speed ? or anything except the download speed of the chain?
