we just relaunched updated Battleship game. Sorry for this quite long delay, we excepted the update does not take so much time.
We found out that the Battleship is not a game of chance only. There are some tricks which you can help to get an advantage in the long run. Firstly, we though that an advantage is so small that we can simply ignore that. But as you showed us, we were wrong and someone of you beat the house
Look & feel stays same, this update was focused on dealer bot. The bot computes probabilities of ship occurrence for each square. Then provably fair shuffle is used to select one of the top squares.
As mentioned above, there are several tricks how to manage the game. In my personal opinion, these tricks do the Battleship game much more interesting than e.g. minesweeper, because skill influence results, not a chance only.

So pretty much you could win before but you made it impossible to win against the house now, thanks for the info
Don't worry. It's still a game of chance. You can win or lose. But you can be more successful (similar to Blackjack card counting). Try it and you will see that dealer bot is not an "unbeatable machine". The old bot was just too weak.
