I rented some hash power at WestHash tonight (just a little bit: 100TH :-) and pointed the order at Slush's pool tonight and it got auto-canceled after about 15 minutes.

The "Pool verificator" said Slush's pool was compatible, but right after the order started the order status page kept saying something like "pool connection problems, pool diff too low, minimum difficulty is 127" which is a problem, since i have the worker configured for 1024 difficulty pool-side.

Then it started hashing and managed to get up to about 30TH before the order suddenly got auto-canceled.  it refunded the charges, which is good at least.  I was able to do this last week on CKPool (kano.is)...

Is slush's pool known to work with westhash rented rigs?  Is it incompatible?

From this it looks like it should be supported:

Which mining pools are supported?

thanks in advance for any insight, tips or tricks!

Not sure if this was issue, but with 100TH you should set a starting difficulty of about 71000. 1024 is way too low, though vardiff should have kicked it up fairly quickly.

I use Nicehash (Europe version) and have never had a problem.  I just set up a worker just for Nicehash with a min diff of 128 to get the ball rolling.  It currently at 33334 diff at 30TH.  Runs 24/7.  Should be jumping to 50TH soon.  Are you using the bot?
