It's simple doubling game.
and where is the difference between your doubling game and a ponzi?
In ponzi scheme participant _must_ to attract new members to get a profit.
In this game participant choose time and amount to in and if he made the right choice he get his profit.
yeah correct, in a PONZI comes the Money every time from NEW PLAYERS who PAY THE PROFIT for a old Player.

the right choice is not enough to raise funds...
for me it seems that the profit comes from new players also, like in a ponzi.
and if a Player (new or old) make the wrong choice he will get no profit.
this means finally, you raise more funds as by a typical ponzi.
but whatever, it works like a ponzi...
