But they told me it was scientifically certain!?  They said it was because of maths and streisand effects?  Was I misled?

The way I see it, your best recourse is to report Bitcoin to your local authorities.
Write to your congressman, imam, party boss or whoever.  They'll know what to do with these Bitcoin rascals!
