but I think many new users will just be running nis+ncc on default port. isn't that a real issue for the network? I mean you said if ncc can be accessed then nis can be crashed!? you guys should fix that somehow.
1) I wouldn't know how you can crash NIS by accessing NCC.
Well, what he(laniakea) means is the following: an "attacker" can access NCC=>Settings, enter e.g. 0.0.0.0 as remote server and 123 as port. Boom, NIS offline, and node owner -- unless grasping how the software works -- confused, as Nis can't be relaunched and wallets can't be opened with such setting in place.
idk the previous setting. i reinstalled the nem program in a new folder, but still the same problem appear.
In the settings enter 127.0.0.1 and check default port
