“The end of time will not come until someone will tell a lie and it will immediately reach the horizons of the Earth” - Muhammad(PBUH)

Obviously you need technology to do such things, and such technology was not available before (except through a miracle). Note that it talks about reaching the "horizons of the Earth" and "immediately". This is done by the Internet and television, hence the "world wide web" (www). The satellite covers the whole world. Imagine how can anyone predict such a thing 1500 years ago, especially in a desert Arab society?
On level flat ground the "horizons" are about ten kilometers away....

Quote from: Wikipedia
For an observer on the ground with eye level at h = 5 ft 7 in (1.70 m), the horizon is at a distance of 2.9 miles (4.7 km). For an observer standing on a hill or tower 100 feet (30 m) in height, the horizon is at a distance of 12.2 miles (19.6 km).

However, if it was about a small distance, only "horizon" was needed. It is mentioned "horizons of the Earth" and also it is mentioned "immediately". Even with a fastest living thing you can use to send a message, you can't make it reach "immediately" even if it only covers 4.7 km.
That's correct - I was thinking of when a ship's mast and sails would first be seen above the horizon.  More than 1.7 meters.

But regarding instant signalling -

American Indians did so with "smoke signals".

Ships at sea used various flags raised on masts for signaling.

Armies used various drums and so forth.

All of the above easily cover these distances.

But we are left with a problem here.  You would like to take verses in a book which are clearly open to multiple interpretations - then take ONE interpretation that indicates "Miracles."  Who gives you the right to pick one interpretation versus another?
