I'm stepping down as the leader of the Ocupy project. A major shift in direction is required to take OCUPY to the next level. I will still be involved in the project, however I will be taking a back seat on further decision making. All members of the OCUPY Team remain dedicated to the project.

Killakem of the Fibre project will now be taking the lead. His experience in the crypto world and innovative thinking will take OCUPY to new heights. There will be significant changes to the business model and direction of OCUPY, however OCUPY coin will remain the central currency and blockchain of this platform.

Benny

I'm very excited to be taking the lead moving forward. I have believed in the vision of Benny and his team from day one. There are several components that will be required for the mainstream adoption of digital currency's, offering users the most innovative crypto features in a easy to use web based platform is one.

Rebranding
I have spoken with many industry contacts that like the concept but view the association with the Occupy group negatively. OCUPY will be renamed and rebranded moving away from its association with the Occupy movement. The .com domain has been acquired for the new name. All aspects of the project will be rebranded.

Crowd Funding
There will be a NXT based crowd funding campaign to raise funds for development and marketing. This will also give everyone  the opportunity to benefit from the platforms success. The campaign will commence next week. Full details including a business plan will be available at launch

Development
The existing development team will remain in place. Additional developers will be hired to increase the workflow and speed up delivery. The 100k Ocupy coins that OCMiner holds in escrow will be used for a series of development bounties.
