I think most of ico don't have sell coins,or at least not all.
Have yu ever thinked about bit farms miner?

I'm checking on suprnova right now:


    Pool Hashrate: 6,386.47 MH/s
    Pool Workers: 181
    Net Hashrate: 21,133.43 MH/s

So,where came from the net hasrate if suprnova got only 6.386 MHS?
Probably there are some big farms solomining the coin (maybe some early miners have the without pay nothing)

It could be a real scenario,if most of miners hash will not coming from pool.
