We have filed all the paperwork we are legally required to about such transactions. It would be illegal for us to stop them

Not only is it not illegal, but it is encouraged to stop trading activities of those suspect of laundering coins.
mullick you can't BS me, i've spoken to Fincen a number of times personally (completely outside of this debacle). Coinbase shuts down accounts all the time, even shut down Josh's because of suspicious activity.

My understanding of how it works is companies are not supposed to stop the activity unless they are on the OFAC list. We are supposed to monitor and report.
