Would it make sense to him using HYPER?

I'm probably biased but I would probably look at using the Coinstore.me API which would give him access to HYPER, Coin2 and any other coin that chooses to join the wallet. He can support one or all or any mix of coins, but more importantly the API provides additional functionality (wallet, monthly or immediate payouts for high score etc.) and can be extended to include other functionality that he would otherwise have to build in.

The question is why would he use HYPER or any other alt coin. Some reasons would be to be able to offer additional functionality, HYPER available within multiple games for in game purchases, intro to alt coins etc. a sense of providing something different, cutting edge, community competitions - monthly high score payouts etc.

Personally I think there are good reasons for including altcoins.

Can I have a list of altcoin that Coinstore.me support?

At the moment we host hyper and coin2 although it is easy to add others when folk have a need. This would initially give your friend access to both communities but more importantly access to additional functionality.

Oh. What APIs do you guys (and/or girls) have for Hyper? I have been waiting for the browser based wallet for months..
