He expressed interest in moving on months before and made preparations in advance but never gave a farewell message and simply disappeared leaving everyone wondering. His only response years later was :

No way the GMX wasn't a hack but a lapse on email wasn't it? He was going to leak Satoshis Identity and nothing ever happened because he couldn't, whoever sent that message was not the same scum who got into the GMX email as it wasn't profitable in any way to just say he isn't Dorian. I think it was Satoshi and a little thing like that should never have needed a wallet signature anyways.
