Another quick question does it matter if I changed the rpcuser= and the rpcpassword= 
It's irrelevant. If you're not mining solo with 3rd parity miner (which is not coded/builded yet) it's not important.
Change it, delete it etc. it's ok.
I deleted it in confs for other coins and everything worked OK.
