anyone else having problems with their wallet?
Mine appears to be working ok.
hmm ok long story short i had to reinstall & now its stuck at 28 weeks...

I've made a new bootstrap file, current to ~03:30 GMT, Sunday, May 3rd.

If you are still having difficulties you can save your wallet.dat file to a new location - it is most important that you do that or you will lose your coins. After saving your wallet.dat you may then delete the entire contents of your CannabisCoin directory.

You did not state what operating system you are using. You did state that you have had the wallet running so the necessary directory must already exist.

If you are in Windows that will be most easily located by typing "%AppData%\Roaming\CannabisCoin" into your system search box.
For Mac OSX open Finder, click "Go" in the menu bar and press the "Option" key to expose the Library listing, you will find the CannabisCoin directory under "Application Support".
In GNU/Linux you find it in your home directory, depending on your distribution it will be exposed in your file manager by pressing "Control+h" or "Control+." in Debian.

Before starting your new wallet installation download the newly refreshed bootstrap.dat file found zipped here as Bootstrap.dat.zip. Unzip it to your system-appropriate directory.

You should also create an ordinary text file named cannabiscoin.conf (if in Windows make sure that the system does not add ".txt" to the file name).

Copy the following text to cannabiscoin.conf (it will work fine if you only use the "addnode" lines, the others are of import only to miners):

server=1
listen=1
rpcuser=cannabisuser
rpcpassword=cannabispass
rpcport=39347
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
addnode=seed.cannabiscoin.net
addnode=seed2.cannabiscoin.net
addnode=seed3.cannabiscoin.net
addnode=seed4.cannabiscoin.net
addnode=seed5.cannabiscoin.net
addnode=cann.cryptoservices.net

Save and close cannabiscoin.conf and start your newly installed CannabisCoin wallet.

It should say "Loading blocks from disk". Depending on the speed of your system this could take a while. Once the wallet exhausts the supply from bootstrap.dat it will rename the file bootstrap.dat.old and continue updating from the network.

When you are ready you can stop your wallet, copy your saved wallet.dat file back to the appropriate directory and then restart the wallet. After rescanning the blockchain all should be as it was before.

You may PM me if any of this is unclear or you have any difficulties.

Perfect very details !  cheers B4zz4  Grin Grin Grin Grin
