If every coin in the network was bunched into 25,000-coin groups, we would have a maximum of 74 masternodes. Of course, the possibility of everyone coin being bunched in this manner is extremely unlikely, and a more reasonable amount we could see is 30 masternodes online 48 hours after the update.

We have around 1.85M coins in circulation. There will be a limit of 100 masternodes that can run at any given time. 25,000 Neutron will be required as a collateral to run a Nucleus. Nuclei will be receiving 2/3rds of stake rewards (26), while stakers will be received 1/3rd (13). The reward smoothly halves every 2 years.
I never realized that only 100 will ever be available. So when maxed out 2.5 million coins will be out of circulation.  This coin keeps getting better.

Yes, this is one of the bigger perks/incentives for early birds- to be one of the 100 Nuclei. From then on, only if the masternode disconnects/has coins withdrawn, they will lose their position, and if a new candidate is quick enough, they'll be able to bud into that vacant spot in one of the 100 prestigious positions for masternodes Smiley
